According to a written statement from the White House, Biden and Zelenskiy held a phone call today in which the US and its allies discussed military, economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine and sanctions against Russia.
In the statement, in which the work of the USA and its allies on Ukraine’s security demands was discussed, Biden informed Zelenskiy that the USA intends to provide 500 million dollars of direct budgetary aid to the Ukrainian government.
While the new US sanctions against Russia and new humanitarian aid to Ukraine were also discussed, Zelenskiy informed Biden about Ukraine’s negotiations with Russia.
