Following this, it was reported that it was decided to appoint Murat Bilgiç and to initiate the necessary application procedures in this context. In the statement, which stated that it was decided that Bilgiç would serve as a natural member of the TSKB Board of Directors following his appointment as the general manager, it was reminded that the bank made a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on 25 March 2022 regarding the appointment process.

According to the information given in the statement, Bilgiç was born in Ankara in 1968. After graduating from METU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations in 1990, he received a master’s degree in Money-Banking-Finance from The University of Birmingham. made.

Completing the Management Program at Manchester Business School and Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, Bilgiç started his career in 1990 as an intern assistant inspector at the Board of Inspectors at İşbank.

He was appointed as Assistant Manager in Corporate Loans Allocation Department in 1999, regional manager in 2002 and department manager in 2008. He was appointed as Deputy General Manager of İşbank on 25 March 2016.

Following the completion of the necessary legal permits, Bilgiç will serve as the general manager and board member of TSKB, which operates with the mission of supporting Turkey’s sustainable and inclusive development.
