You are not requred to believe it. You are not requried to believe in gods possibly. Buddhists don’t really care what you believe; it’s as much as you, and regardless of whether you think in some thing or not isn’t anyplace near as essential as what your actions are and whether you’re wholesomely pleased or not.
Do not be concerned concerning the “code” if you think soem components are good try them, even should you like stuff from other religions why not?
